VIRGINIA, MN (CBS-3) – Virginia Police say a man was arrested early Saturday morning after another man died following a fight between the two.
According to the report, police responded to a call of a physical altercation and an unresponsive man near Pine Mill Court around 12:47 a.m.
When authorities arrived, they learned the unresponsive 41-year-old man was involved in the fight. They tried to revive him, but CPR and Narcan were unsuccessful. He later died at the hospital.
Police have not yet identified him or said how exactly he died, but an autopsy is pending.
The other man allegedly involved in the fight ran from the scene before police got there.
The 31-year-old was eventually found nearby and taken into custody.
Virginia Police say he’s being held at the St. Louis County Jail, where he’s expected to be charged with manslaughter.
